Basic information about my jewelry
Sizes and weights of items are listed below the item pictures. Sterling silver bracelets and necklaces are made to fit me-- my wrists are 16 centimeters (6.25 inches) around, and a 33-centimeter (13-inch) necklace hangs nicely from my neck. Green wire bracelets are one-size-fits-most, with a chain and hook to adjust to different sized wrists (the smallest setting fits me). Ask me in an email if you need a size adjustment.
Variation
All Lake Superior stones are rough stones that I personally found at Lake Superior. They have not been polished, faceted or artificially shaped in any way. All gemstone and lake stone pieces are unique, because all stones are different. Whenever I make a new piece of stone jewelry, I put up its individual photo and description, and whenever a piece of jewelry is bought, its photo and description are taken down. That way you know exactly what the item you're buying looks like. (I have reused photos only for certain pearl earrings, because the individual pieces are similar enough that it doesn't make a difference.) If you would like any more photos of a particular item, please email me at humanalien@gmail.com.
I will try my best to take each item's listing down as soon as the item is sold. However, it is possible that a second person will sometimes order the same piece before I get a chance to take its listing down. If this happens, I will sell the item to the first person who ordered it and send the second person an email of apology.
Earring styles
My earrings with French hooks are gold-plated or solid sterling silver, depending on the earring style.

French hooks
Hooks can be changed to clips or ear cuffs on request. Clips and ear cuffs come in silver-plated or gold-plated styles. (For more information about ear cuffs, go here.)

How To Wear French Hook Earrings If Your Ears Aren't Pierced

I don't have pierced ears, and it always frustrated me to see all the
beautiful French hook earrings that I can't wear without converting them to
clips, which are not comfortable and not as pretty.
Then I found that it is very simple to make a French hook into an ear cuff. All you need is a pair of needlenose pliers. (I even managed to do it with my bare hands once, though it's not easy or pleasant, and there's a greater risk of breaking the metal.)
What you do is bend both ends of the French hook all the way back. It ends up looking like this:

The look is a bit different from wearing it on your earlobe:

When you put it on your ear, follow the usual rule for putting on an ear
cuff: Don't bend the metal, bend the rim of your ear to fit through the gap in
the cuff. You may have to put it on near the top of your ear and then slide it
down to the right place:

Experiment to see what's the right size for the gap to be: big enough you can
squeeze the rim of your ear through, but tight enough it doesn't fall off.
Once they're on, I barely notice I'm wearing them. And other people mistake them for pierced earrings all the time. If you want a big step up from clip earrings in both comfort and beauty, I highly recommend ear cuffs.
-----
Now that I've developed this technique, I've begun offering it for all the earrings I sell. (Currently, the ear cuffs I offer are silver-plated or gold-plated. I do not offer solid sterling silver ear cuffs because all my solid sterling silver ear hooks are too small to bend into ear cuffs. If you really want solid silver ones, contact me, and maybe I can arrange to order some larger sterling ear hooks and bend them into cuffs for you.)
