How to order
I can accept PayPal payments, and card payments through PayPal. If you have a credit card or check card, you can pay with it through PayPal, whether you have a PayPal account or not.
Steps to order:
1. Contact me.
Send me an email at humanalien@gmail.com, with the subject line "Jewelry Order." In the body of the email, include:
* the email address you would like your bill to be sent to
* the identification numbers of the items you would like to buy
* any specifications, like size adjustments or earring type.
(Be sure to take a look at the Jewelry Details page first.)
2. Wait for my reply.
* I will send you an email confirming that I have gotten your order.
* If the items you requested are in stock, I will send you a Paypal invoice.
3. Make a payment.
* The PayPal invoice will give you instructions to send me the payment for your order.
* I can accept PayPal payments, and card payments through PayPal.
* If you have a bank card, you can pay with it through PayPal, whether you have a PayPal account or not. Just follow the instructions in the invoice.
Important:
* I can only ship within the United States and Canada. For shipments to Canada, the price will go up by $20.
* I use USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, unless otherwise requested. If you'd like me to use a different shipping service, please let me know. In some cases this may increase the price.
* No extra charges for shipping, handling and sales tax will be charged when you order, unless you request shipping to Canada, or you make a special request for an expensive shipping service. Otherwise, all charges of this type are included in the price listed on the site. Why?
* If you have any questions or concerns, email me at humanalien@gmail.com.
Once I have the payment, I will get your order in the mail within a week.
Sorry, I cannot give refunds. If you would like me to repair, alter, or exchange an item you bought from me, email me and I will tell you an address you can send it to. Mail it to me, including stamps that I can use to mail it (or its replacement) back to you when I'm done.
I will repair broken items, change the size of chain bracelets and necklaces, and make earring alterations between hooks, clips and ear cuffs at no extra charge.
If you want to exchange something, I can send you any item or items I have in stock that add up to the original price of what you bought. Let me know which ones you would like.

Custom-Made Jewelry
If you're looking for something unique and personal-- for a special event, or a special gift-- I can take your idea and make it into a custom piece of jewelry, using wire and stones of your choice. You can even send me your own beads or stones to work into the design.
I can get most orders done within a month, including the time it takes to get any new materials I need. The price will vary depending on the design, but for any individual piece I won't charge more than $40 beyond the cost of materials. I work fast, and I have fun doing it, so I don't require a lot of compensation for my labor.
Here is an example of what I could do for a wedding:

Or a personalized gift:

I'm currently not equipped to make anything that requires melting, molding or soldering the metal, but I can make a wide variety of things just by bending wire and incorporating whatever other materials I have. I've made lockets and daggers. Email me your idea and I'll see what I can invent!

Why don't I include extra charges for shipping?
It's more convenient for both me and you. I never like it when I order something that claims to cost five dollars, and then the total comes up to nine-fifty once they've figured in shipping and sales tax. So I decided that I wouldn't do that to my customers.
Instead, I just decide on an amount I'd be willing to sell the item for, and then I add on shipping, handling and any other costs, and list the total as the price of the item. That's the only price you'll have to pay. It's simpler for both of us if we only have to deal with a single amount. The only time I'll charge extra for shipping is if you request shipping to Canada, or if you request something like next-day delivery, which may bring expenses up beyond what I planned for.
Also, my prices never end in "ninety-nine cents." They're always nice round numbers. Simpler, more honest, and easier to add.
